The main products of this alloy are rods, tubes, plates, strips, wires and forgings, etc. It is mainly used in the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear and rare metal refining industries.

 

Uniform corrosion of inconel products can occur in acidic or hot alkaline solutions. Through this mechanism you can predict the loss and allow it in the design. When the corrosion rate of inconel products is very slow, the metal is in a passive state, generally with a higher corrosion resistance and a larger chromium content, but other solutes can be harmful. Inconel nickel base alloy 713
Inconel 713 is a gamma prime precipitated nickel-based cast superalloy. It has good creep strength, thermal fatigue resistance and oxidation resistance below 900 °C. The composition of the alloy is simple, contains no cobalt, and has a low density, usually used in the as-cast state. The use of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) treatment and subsequent heat treatment can improve the plasticity and fatigue properties, and also restore the structure and performance of parts after long-term use of tissue degradation and performance degradation. Long-term aging at 800 °C will precipitate a small amount of σ phase, but has no significant effect on performance. The alloy is suitable for the manufacture of turbine rotor blades, guide vanes and cast-mill turbines and other high temperature parts for gas turbines operating below 900 °C.
